Title: Impact of the Fresenius Medical Care carve-out on the fully integrated payment platform TIS: A case study of Fresenius
Abstract: Fresenius is a global healthcare company with sales in over 100 countries. By introducing the TIS platform worldwide as a central payment’s hub, Fresenius has achieved significant cost savings, improved SAP integration, and expanded the options for central functions.
As part of the deconsolidation of the Fresenius Medical Care (FMC) subsidiary at the end of 2023, Fresenius was faced with the challenge of implementing a global “TIS carve-out” for the previously fully integrated and globally positioned subsidiary. In this practical presentation, Fresenius will provide insights into the planning phase, the complex implementation and the associated challenges and possible solutions offered by TIS as a fully integrated partner.
